UTS Second Hand Books and Bits is the Student Association's bookshop. It is a NON-PROFIT department. It aims to facilitate buying and selling books by students.

On this website you can find the books you are looking for (browse the live catalogue),click on BUY or SELL .

3 EASY STEPS TO SELL YOUR BOOKS

1. Check your book is the most current edition:www.coop-bookshop.com.au/books
(We only accept prescribed texts* to re-sell.)

2. Register your details and the books at our website: www.sa.uts.edu.au/books.

3. Bring your books to the SA Bookshop.

BRING PRESCRIBED TEXTS*

To Check for prescribed texts, please go to: www.coop-bookshop.com.au/bookshop
then go to top menu bar choose BOOK SEARCH
then choose TEXT LIST SEARCH
then choose your UNIVERSITY and CORRECT SEMESTER
and type your subject name or code and PRESS SEARCH.
(This will show you your book list).
then double click on each book title in the book list.

Check you have the right title, author and most importantly the edition and year. All these details must match.

IF YOU DELIVER BOOKS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE OLDER EDITIONS OR DROPPED TEXTS THEY WILL BECOME DONATIONS FOR OUR SALE TABLE.

Generally we take books on consignment. You will be paid when the book sells. You will receive 70% of the selling price which will be sent to your nominated bank account. We are your agent, we will take a 30% commission.

We also buy certain textbooks at our discretion. (We can only offer up to a maximum of 30% of the second hand sale price.)

Security for Your Books
All care will be taken by our staff to look after your books but no responsibility is taken for books stolen. Books placed with us are left here at the book owners' risk.
